"If you must work for money, find a way to work and be happy. That is financial intelligence." - Robert Kiyosaki
Monday through Friday I wake up and go to work... and that's all it is, WORK!
It's not necessarily hard work but its work nonetheless. Sitting around in a cubicle typing my fingers off for $12/hour. Yeah, I put it out there! A bachelor's degree and a Wal-Mart salary.
This can't be what life has to offer. This can NOT be what my future in the work force looks like. Being underpaid and unhappy? These people have been working here for years doing the same thing over and over and over... and nothing changes, hardly.
I need a career, not some dead end job with nothing to offer.
And God forbid my salary won't allow me to eat out at least once a week! (Im spoiled... a little... and?) I think I would just DIE!
I went to a forum/presentation last night that presented a financial opportunity that claims to provide financial indepence. Being the skeptic that I am, I probably won't try it but I did hear one thing that stuck out and made a ton of sense to me.
"Out-earn the problem."
With all thats going on in the world, people are becoming broke, busted, and disgusted. Jobs that were once done by people are being replaced by machines, layoffs are more prominent, gas prices continue to rise, that donut that used to be $.60 is now $1.00!
So how do we out-earn the problem? Becoming financially independent. Sure that takes a lot of hard work and dedication but I'm up for it if it'll make me happier and give me a more fulfilling life than a routine 9-5 lifestyle.
I'm not sure how I'm going to make this happen but I am seeking to find a solution.
For now, I'll work on financial intelligence and just being plain ole happy!
We'll discuss this more in depth later.
