Last night I got a bit of a rude awakening.
As my mother's friend and I were driving along Nassau Rd., a car came out of nowhere and almost rammed into the side of our car.
Although we spun a bit out of control trying to maneuver the vehicle out of the way, no one was hurt.
Unfortunately, so many others aren't that lucky. Just a couple of days ago Rev. Timothy Wright lost his wife and grandson to a head on collision that almost took his life. (He's still in the hospital holding on by the way.)
I guess this serves as a reminder that life isn't promised to any of us.
Anyway, I realize how much time some people spend worrying about tomorrow when it may never ever come. I wan't to live in the moment and try to enjoy every moment that I'm here.
So since we've all got to go sometime...
